A great high-end Spod and Marker reel
Building on from their successful Emcast range of carp reels, the Emcast Spod and Marker reel packs plenty of features. From the featherweight graphite body and rotor, to the aluminium spool and precision-cut handle, the construction is strong yet lightweight. The reel comes with the AirBail, Twistbuster and Infinite Anti-Reverse systems common to quality Daiwa reels, as well as a spring loaded line clip that reduces line wear and a useful spare spool (can vary with second hand reels).
The 4.9:1 ratio retrieves 102cm of line per crank on a full spool, yet still ensures a good conversion of power; the perfect balance of speed and power for spod and marker duties.
